Salted Coconut Caramel Sauce

This 3-ingredient sauce is to die for! It’s vegan and refined sugar free and absolutely delicious. You can make it in 30 minutes and enjoy on lots of dishes!

As a HUGE lover of salted caramel, I am proud to say that this sauce is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Since I’m trying to eat mostly vegan (I do love the ocassional meat dish though) and refined sugar free, I’ve been really missing salted caramel. Well, caramel in general but… I mean, salted caramel is just even better!

Caramel sauce somehow makes everything better. It’s amazing on pancakes, waffles and ice cream. Works wonderfully in milkshakes or even on porridge! I have LOTS of recipes using this salted caramel sauce coming up in the next few weeks!

This sauce is actually super easy to make! You need only three ingredients: a can of full fat coconut milk, coconut sugar and – you guessed it – salt! I like using pink Himalayan salt as it has a fine taste that I really appreciate.

And it only takes 30 minutes to make it. Just make sure to stay close by to stir every now and then. Nothing worse than burnt caramel when you’re almost there!!

Will you make this delicious caramel sauce soon? Or how about Chocolate Chia Blender Pudding?
